sports& me post; horns hooked the overrated trojans; superbowl picks, NFL draft, 2006: the best year ever for me! top 10 hottest chicks right now!

First I would like to say god bless to my Uncle Carlton who died suddenly on January 1st. (R.I.P)

On Wednesday night I witnessed with my two lazyeyes the best game ever. Football. Basketball, Baseball all included. also the greatest perfomance on such a grand stage. The National championship game. Which everybody gave USC the title before they even played a down. All month long I just couldn't wait for this game. You had the best three players on the field in Bush, Young, and Leinart. I was eager to see this game becuase I knew that it was going to be a great game and that it was. but a lot of people, especially the media gave Texas no chance at all to stop the Mighty Trojans. There offense is just too good to be contained by anyone. If that was the case then what was the whole point of watching the game if that was going to be the case. Seeing both teams play on T.V regularly I knew that wasn't the case. USC might have had the better superstars, but not better team. USC defense is not even close to those of Texas, Ohio State or Penn State for that matter. I think OSU can have beat them to. Seeing this also wonderful USC team get tested an abundance of times this year against way less than equal competition. It had to take a superman like perfomance by Reggie Bush for them to beat a no good Fresno State team, who got murdered by Neveda, a team that wasn't even bowl eligible. A game that they should've lost. And who can forget the game Nov. 6th against Notre Dame, in which the Fightin Irish dominated on offense. It took a really bad spot by the referee and a push by Reggie Bush to beat an overrated Notre Dame team who lost to Michigan State and was pushed to the limit by another mediocre PAC-10 team in Stanford. The Fiesta Bowl should have gave you all the answers you needed to know about Notre Dame who was dominated against by The OHIO STATE BUCKEYES. they made Brady Quinn look like Joey Harrington. Ohio Sate was in the red zone 3 times in that game and came away with nothing. The final score was 34-20 but it wasn't even that close. That game could have easily been 56-14 or even worse. Troy Smith was Sensational and displayed a Vince Like esque performance, in which I'll get to in a little bit. I guarantee you if OSU would have beat them too. but a lost earlier in the season to now the new Defending National Champions Texas Longhorns who beat the Buckeyes in Columbus. The most hostile crowd in the country. Now to the championship game itself in which I had a hard time picking the winner. In which I blame on ESPN who hyped up USC way tooo much. Saying how they were the greatest team ever and how they would match up against passed National Championship teams. For example;the 2000-2002 Miami Hurricanes who had a 34 game win streak as well and won the Championship in the Rose bowl 4 years ago. should have been2 national titles with that phantom Pass Interference call by the Refs. Well anyway that team would have destroyed USC. are you kiddding me? But those dumb college football anaylst jump on the bandwagon of USC. To beat those Miami teams of the early 2000s. They would have killed USC by 4 touchdowns. And not even play their starters in the 4th quarter. With Ken dorsey, Willis Mcgahee, Clinton Portis, Jeremy Shockey, Brian Mckinnie, Andre Johnson, Kellen Winslow, Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Mark Rumph, Phiillip Buchanan,Jonathan Vilma, D.J Williams, Vince Wilfork, Jerome Mcdougle, Dan Morgan, Roscoe Parrish, and etc. That team was dominat on both sides of the ball they murdered team in a way harder conference than the PAC-10 the most overrated conference in college football, known for great offense and mediocre defense. All the players I just name above we're all either 1st or 2nd round draft picks. IF USC would have played in the Big Ten or SEC would they still would have had their streak of 34 consecutive wins? I don't think so. Well now to the title game itself. Going into the game I felt that they wouldn't be able to stop Vince Young; based on what I saw from them on the defensive side of the ball. I admit their offense is spectacular Reggie Bush is as amazing as everybody says he is but that defense?
So going into the game I was still optimistic, and I was all the way to the last second. From start to finish it was the Vince Young show he dominated asI knew he would but not the way he did Wednesday night, I had never seen anything like it. He did what he wanted to do he ran he threw. It was a Michael Jordan esque like performance. All December, January long he and his team had been overshadowed by how brilliant Reggie and Matt we're and that USC offense, USc and history and etc. Not only did he prove to the world that he was the best player on teh field but who the better team was. He could not be stopped. His play on the field that day answered all doubters. I will never forget that play 4 & 5 from the 8yd line. Looking around, nobobdy open, he takes off not only picking up the first down;but scoring the game winning touchdown; dethroning the USC trojans in Pasenda, California. The greatest game I've ever seen in my lifetime and teh greatest performance. A performance so great that the Reggie Bush bowl should have been the Vince Young bowl. Two words for them. Hook'em horns. Thank You to the NCAA for the best gameand the best performance ever! That almost brought me to tears for the first time since 1988.

Now to the NFL playoffs. Before the year started I picked the Indianapolis Colts to win the Super Bowl. And they have a great chance; home field advantage throughout the playoffs and the Superbowl is in a dome just like the colts homefield. So it's a lock for them to win right?

Wrong? If the Cincinatti Bengals can make it to the AFC Championship game against Indy. i think they have a great chnace of beating them. That is the only team that can beat them becuase they can match fire with fire. Any other team has no shot. including those overrated Pittsburgh steelers who are on a six game winning streak all against mediocre teams. But if the bengals don't make it that far. The Colts will be holding the Lomaradi trophy 4 weeks from sunday. Nobody in the NFC, doesn't come close in matching up with those colts and the best quarterback ever, yeah ever better than Tom Brady, who is strictly a product of the system and has benefited from great coaching and a great defense. So my super bowl picks Colts vs. Bears (my beloved Bears). The outcome Colts 38 Bears 21. Now to the Offseason, and the NFL draft, one of the best sports spectacles their is. The Texans have to be the happiest team after the season concludes, other than the team that won the superBowl. Because they will have the pleasure of either drafting, Reggie Bush, vince Young, or matt Leinart. All who could go Numero uno in nay given draft. This is my Mock 2006 NFL Draft for the first top ten picks

projected
1. Houston Texans- Reggie Bush
I would trade david Carr for a first round pick to a team that needs a quarterback such as Jets, Titans. And I would draft the future hall of famer and superBowlXLV MVP Vince Young.

2. New Orleans Saints-Matt Leinart
I think this will be a smarter move, just because they don't want to go through those Aaron Brooks comparision and I think he fits their system.

3. Tenessee Titans-Vince Young
Steve Mcnair mentored Vince Young and I think it's a great fit.

4. New York Jets-D'Brickashaw Ferguson
I can hear the fans booing now but at leats he'll protect chad Pennington's shoulder

5. Green Bay Packers-Denagelo Williams
This is a no brainer, this guy is going to be a monster, he's the under the radar Reggie Bush if you will. All time leader in NCaa history with 34 100-yd games.

6. Oakland Raiders-Jay Cutler, A.J Hawk or Demario Williams
The Oakland raiders are awful in many places, too bad they can't draft all these players. But I'll take A.J Hawk. Reason: did you see what Tiki Barber did to them.

7.San Francisco 49ers-The whole NFL Draft.
this has to be the worst team in the draft bar none what we're they thinking when they beat St. Louis and Houston. they should have did that last year when they knew alex smith was the 1# quarterback on the board.

8.Buffalo Bills-Santonio Holmes
Eric Moulds has probably played his last game in Buffalo and Holmes would be a great complimnetary wide reciever to Lee Evans.

9.Detroit Lions-Anybody but Matt Millen. (j/k) Lendale white
a great running back from USC who often gets overshadowed by Reggie bush and for ovbvious reasons. He's a power back; kind of a Jerome Bettis type, but with a liitle more speed. They need to bring a winner like that. Something that teh Lions aren't accustomed to.

10. Arizona Cardinals- Trade the pick or Jay Cutler, Lendale White(if available)
they have a great trio of Wide Recievers they just need somehting to compliment them like a deangelo williamd or Lendale white, but i think they'll be off the board so maybe trade the pick for additonal picks or maybe Phillip Rivers? and maybe they can get a running back in the latter stages of the draft

Well that is my mock draft. brought to you by.....................Arby's (Hey I want some free
